Brand Story
Stylish, simple and utterly wearable – the distinctive Shotof aesthetic is the creation of Fatos Tezcan, a mechanical engineer turned designer frustrated by the lack of modern, easy-to-wear with a luxe edge. Unable to find fashionable, contemporary pieces which could transition effortlessly from day to night , she enlisted the help of her husband, a top textile manufacturer in Turkey, and started her own brand.
Since its launch in 2015, Shotof has gone from strength to strength. The label’s signature prints, cuts and kaledescope of colours slayed at Who’s Next Paris in September 2017 and 2018 with Tezcan’s eye for bold shades and superb quality fabrics injecting a splash of covetable, beachside cool into a collection made for strong, independent women with their own unapologetic sense of style. Antonio Marsocci was appointed board advisory and brand director in 2018.
Shotof designs are a celebrity favorite, with fashion-forward fans including Seda Sayan, Ozge Ulusoy and Deniz Akkaya all flaunting their chic  credentials in select pieces from the collection.

Designer Biography
A mechanical engineer with a discerning eye for detail, Shotof designer Fatos Tezcan was born in the historic city of Istanbul, Turkey – a cultural melting pot where east meets west. Having graduated from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul with First Class Honors in Mechanical Engineering, Fatos embraced her love of fashion and creativity, fusing her passion for design and the expertise of her husband – one of Turkey’s biggest fabric manufacturers – to create Shotof.
Founded in 2015, Shotof is Fatos’ love letter to glamorous, chic big city living with whimsical nostalgic references and confident use of color and textile. The result is the personification of modern and versatile separates, which transition easily from day to night and Fatos’ signature easy-glam aesthetic.
With an enviable prints collection as her designer playground, Fatos has refined her style, playing with colors and experimenting with shapes, initially creating limited-edition skirts and blouses before progressing through to high quality, wearable pieces.
Fatos designed her first full SS collection in 2016 all exquisitely crafted to carry the wearer through from sunrise to sunset. Shotof apparel is sold in short-runs to maintain exclusivity and has built up a cult following both locally and internationally. The collection can be found online and at high-end boutiques worldwide.

Brand inspiration
Shotof is inspired by the excitement and energy of summer, sunshine and vibrant, tropical color pallets. Summer’s rays are harnessed in compelling forms with modern and contemporary prints. Unique prints, created by the designer, reinterpret traditional beachwear, creating thoroughly modern, stylish pieces that are timeless, contemporary and transitional.

Target Client Profile
The typical Shotof woman embodies summer living, resides in California, Australia, Dubai, Cape Town, Brazil or vacations in the tropics. She throws on her Shotof kimono for an effortless day look, whether meeting friends for brunch, reading by the pool or hitting the beach. She’s chic yet effortless, fashionable yet individual. At the end of the day, skin flecked with sand and sea-salt beachy locks, she’ll swap her bikini for a jumpsuit or one-piece for a co-ord, use her kaftan as a cover-up and meet friends for dinner in a high-end restaurant. She enjoys good food and great company.
At the other end of the scale, a successful, refined woman who knows what she wants, who loves the comforts and indulgence of five-star resorts grabs her Shotof kaftan to cover her suit as she heads for a private beach, cocktail in hand, or reclines on the deck of her private yacht off the south of France.
